We opted for an overnight 'VIP' bus from Ayuthaya north to Chiang Mai. I can't say much about the bus trip because I was knocked out on sleeping pills, and from hitting my head on the bus window sill when sliding off the chair multiple times in my sleep. Woke up this morning in Chiang Mai, and have been taking it pretty easy since. This city seems like it could be an offshoot of San Francisco with its relatively laid back vibe, and hippy dippiness. Not sure what tomorrow will bring just yet, as there's so much to do here...
